Reading Partners needs volunteers to provide one-on-one literacy tutoring for students in D.C. elementary schools that are reading below grade level. Our students are eager to have someone work with them for 45 minutes each week to improve their literacy skills. There is no experience necessary and tutors are provided with an easy to follow curriculum. Opportunities are available Monday-Thursday from 8:30am-6pm. We have 8 locations throughout DC (Ft. Totten, Anacostia, Congress Heights, Columbia Heights, Thomas Circle, Edgewood, Trinidad, Brightwood).
